How long will this take?

On average, applications take 10 minutes to complete. Opening an FXCM trading account is quick and easy. Applications can be submitted online, or via FAX. What information do I need?

To complete the application, you will need:

• A Passport, Driver's Licence or Government ID number.
• For Joint accounts this information is needed for both the Primary and Joint account holder.

Why does FXCM need this information?

Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. Therefore, we are required to obtain your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's licence or other identifying documents.
