An important part of strategy development is optimization. Trading Station Desktop has a forex strategy optimizer that can test a wide range of strategy inputs so you can quickly locate input combinations that you find favorable.
Locate Key Input Combinations
The purpose of strategy optimization is to find the combination of input parameters that return the results you want. For example, some traders optimize for maximum net equity while others optimize for the lowest maximum drawdown. The strategy optimizer provides over fifteen fields of data that a trader can sort through to locate optimal input combinations.
